How to use this Choke Chain properly: 1. Make sure the collar fits well on your dog. A well-fitted collar is 2-3 inches bigger than your dog’s neck dimensions. If you can pass your fingers between the dog’s neck and the collar, then you chose a proper size.
2. Wear the collar properly! The O-ring should be over the dog’s neck, right under his ears.
3. When your dog walks too fast and not close to you, tighten the collar by pulling the leash and then quickly loose it. In this case the collar works like an obedience training gear.
4. Don’t let your dog get used to the collar. It is not desirable to wear this collar all the time.
